You Knew It Already!
Hello and welcome back. Today, I am going to tell you who this Creator is.
So I was reading my bible just now and I came across something which proves that each and every human being innately knows that God exists.
Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
With this verse, the bible seeks to tell us that the very things we see around us — the things in the universe — show that there is a supernatural being somewhere.
For instance, if you see a cell phone on the floor, you would ask, “Whose cellphone is this?” or “Where did this cellphone come from?”. These two questions either way point to a person directly or indirectly. That's the same thing with the creation of the universe.
So now, please don't deny it, even before reading my previous article, you knew God existed but just didn't want to accept it. Even science deems atheism wrong. If you think I am lying, check this article out.
Now, who is God? There have been many variations of who God is…many ideas and speculations of who He is and where He came from.
Now, let me be honest….no one can fully know who God is and where He came from. But the most accurate description of God can be found in the Bible { The Christian Bible}. In the Bible, the creation story of God is vividly explained, and everything mentioned in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation has been proven and is still being proven.
There is the existence of the Israelites and the Egyptians. There is proof for the existence Noah’s ark, and many prophecies in the bible have come true. Check out a few examples in this link.
Yes, so I am not here to continue proving to you that God exists. The existence of God is already ingrained into your own conscience. I am here to tell you about His begotten son, Jesus Christ — the only name through which we can all be saved.
Aha…a digression again please. Do you know that no matter how many times you delete files from a device, it can always be retrieved? That's how the human life too is. After death (getting deleted from earth..lol) there is somewhere we all go. So we aren't a mere existence in time, we are much much more than that.
Yes, now lets get back on track. So in the beginning, God being so loving gave man freewill when He created him. You know how freewill works right? If not, then lemme explain. For instance, you have GHC 10 and you are to buy food. You have the opportunity to choose between waakye and kenkey, without anyone forcing you to make a particular decision. The option you choose represents the one you are really interested in. That's the same with God and love. We love people regardless of their race, background or anything. We love them because we want to. Love isn't a forced thing. I guess you should ask a couple whether they didn't have every reason to move on to someone richer, smarter, more beautiful or handsome, but they still stayed with each other in spite of everything. This is the kind of freewill God gave to the first humans He created. And well, they abused that freewill and made a wrong decision that severely affected the future of billions of people yet unborn. People unborn were already dead because of this mistake.
And since God is a respecter of freewill, He cant just descend from Heaven and forcefully save us from all the destruction we are destined for. He is a God of order. So, He sent His son to die in our place. His son came down to earth and lived a human life but He was without sin for He was conceived by Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. Now, come on, tell me! Do you know any human born of a virgin? If you do know, come and tell me. Being born of a virgin really proved that Jesus did indeed come from God to save us from destruction. He went through all the pain and suffering and died a gruesome death. That is the way we deserved to die and even worse, go and suffer in hell afterwards. But Jesus did that for us. We were supposed to do all that on our own, individually. Jesus came to do that for us because obviously, we cant do that on our own. And in the end, He says since He has done all this for us, all we have to do now is to believe in Him then we will become one with God just like the time before the mistake of the first humans. He says believe in Him and your life after earth will be in a much better place. Mind you, there are only two places, two p3….Heaven or Hell. Has fire burned you before? Now imagine that pain multiplied by 2641848515154848114874541651612. I know you didn't read that number because you cant…and that is how the pain in Hell will be… UNIMAGINABLE.
Now, all you have to do is believe that Jesus went through all that for your sake so you could be saved. If the life of Jesus was a lie, it wouldn't have made it this far. If it was a lie, would it live on for 2,000+ years? Check out the kind of persecutions people have endured for Christ and if this was all a lie, wouldn't people have come to their “senses” and stopped believing already?
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
You want to have a good life after you die? The way to get that is to accept Jesus.
The moment you die, you’re going to be judged, and without Jesus in your life…you are definitely not going to Heaven. Mind you, Jesus will be the Judge. If it were to be in normal earth circumstances, you would have befriended Jesus because He is the Judge. So why not do same here too.
Hebrews 9:27
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Wouldn't it be better to believe and then die and find out all this wasn't true or you would prefer not to believe and die realizing all this is true….where it will be too late?
The choice is yours to make.
Deuteronomy 30:19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.
